
Dress Code
Not sure what to wear to dance class? Below are some examples and descriptions of what your child should wear to be able to move and dance without their clothes or hair getting in the way. Feel free to call the studio or stop by the front desk with any questions about attire!

Ballet
Levels 5 - 12
For class, dancers need a pink, tan, or black leotard paired with pink, tan, or black tights, and pink canvas or leather ballet shoes. Hair must be pulled back off the face.

Tap
Levels 3 - 12
Dancers may wear a leotard, sports bra, tank top, or shorts along with their tap shoes. Hair should be pulled away from the face.

Jazz
Levels 3 - 5
Dancers can wear a tank top with shorts, leggings, or a leotard. Footwear options include dance paws, slip-on tan jazz shoes, or going barefoot. Hair should be pulled back off the face.

Contemporary
Levels 6 - 12
Attire includes a tank top paired with shorts, or a leotard, along with slip-on tan jazz shoes. Hair must be pulled back off the face.

Hip Hop
All Levels
Dancers should wear a t-shirt or tank top with shorts, or anything comfortable and loose that allows for easy movement. Clean gym shoes are recommended, though shoes are not required for Hip Hop/Tumbling. Hair must be pulled back off the face.

Ballet
Levels Pre - 5
For dance class, students should wear a solid-color leotard paired with pink, tan, or black tights, along with either pink or skin-toned canvas or leather ballet shoes. Hair must be neatly styled and secured up in a bun for every session.

Tap
Levels Pre - 2
Students should wear a solid-colored leotard with pink, tan, or black tights and tan tap shoes—tap ties are recommended for younger dancers to keep shoes secure. Hair must be pulled neatly away from the face.

Jazz
Levels Pre - 2
Attire includes a tank top paired with shorts, or a leotard, along with slip-on tan jazz shoes. Hair must be pulled back off the face.

Jazz
Levels 6 - 12
Attire includes a tank top paired with shorts, or a leotard, along with slip-on tan jazz shoes. Hair must be pulled back off the face.

Acro
All Levels
Students should wear a tank top and shorts or a leotard with footless tights only. Dancers will be barefoot, and hair must be pulled back off the face.

Stretch
All Levels
Dancers can wear a tank top with shorts, leggings, or a leotard. Footwear options include dance paws, slip-on tan jazz shoes, or going barefoot. Hair should be pulled back off the face.
