Our spring recital is always an exciting time for all of our dancers as they get ready to show you everything they've been working on in dance class all year! This page is your one stop shop for all recital information, but as always feel free to call the studio or stop by the front desk with any questions.

Costumes

Costumes & Tights

Costume and tights fees are due by December 15 for the Spring Recital. Prices for levels Pre-3 and Hip Hop classes will be $80.00 per class. Levels 4-12 and Performance Team classes will be $90.00. This fee is due by November 1st.  You may make partial payments for your recital costumes beginning in September. Costume and tights are partially refundable before January 15 and can be canceled with a $25 fee. Tights are a-la-carte for high level classes. Partial payments for costumes can be made beginning in September - see Judy for details. Pictures of your costume will be available in the binders at the front desk a few months into the start of the season.

Recital Fee

Each family is required to pay a recital fee of $75.00 for the 1st dancer & an additional $15 for each additional dancer due May 1st. This fee is mandatory for performance in the spring recital. Each family receives complimentary tickets for the recital. Technique classes & some Performance Team classes do not do a recital dance.

Day-Of Procedure

Tickets & Day-Of Procedure

  • Each family will receive complimentary tickets.

  • All students are required to attend dress rehearsal to review their dances. At dress rehearsal, video taping is permitted. During the recital, videotaping & flash photography are not permitted; video cameras will not be permitted in the auditorium.

  • Audience members will not be permitted to leave the auditorium while a dance is in progress. Parents may leave to dress their child only after a number has finished.

  • No siblings are permitted in the dressing room area during dress rehearsal or the recital.

  • All students must stay in the dressing room area during the show when they are not performing.

  • All classes will have a Helping Mom for backstage or will pay to cover the cost of a babysitter. If you are interested in this position, please see your teacher or the front desk.

  • We have festival seating for the dance recital; the theater doors open approximately 15 minutes before the show.

  • Additional tickets will go on sale in mid-May.
