Dawn has been teaching in the Cincinnati area for over 20 years. She earned her BFA from Northern Kentucky University with an area of concentration in Education. She also earned an MFA from the University of Virginia where she graduated with honors. Dawn is a Member of Dance Masters of Ohio and is certified in Acro, Ballet, Tap and Jazz.
Kathy is a member of Actor‘s Equity and continues to perform and choreograph for theaters across the US and students at JOB. Her performance credits include The Merry Widow with the NYC opera, European tour of 42nd Street and The Augsburg‘s State Theater‘s production of West Side Story in Germany. US tours include West Side Story, My Fair Lady and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Kathy has assistant choreographed in over twenty shows.
Amanda has been dancing at Just Off Broadway since the age of three and was a member of their award winning Performance Team. After her time at JOB, she attended the University of Cincinnati. She is very excited to be choreographing for the Performance Team and Hot Shots this year as well as teaching classes.
Lauren graduated from University of Cincinnati with a degree in Education, received her Masters from Xavier, and is a 6th grade teacher in New Richmond. She began dancing at the age of five and has studied hip hop, acro, ballet, and jazz. She is an alumni of the JOB Performance Team and has enjoyed teaching at JOB for many years.
Jennifer started dancing at the age of 5 in Youngstown, OH where she studied ballet, tap, jazz, and modern dance. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati, College of Conservatory of Music where she received her BFA in Ballet Performance. She also has an MBA in finance from Xavier University and works as Senior Client Services Manager at Convergys.
Jonnie Lynn Jacobs-Percer is a local teacher from the College Conservatory of Music Prep program. received her B.F.A. and M.A. from the University of Cincinnati in 1982 and 2001, majoring in Ballet and Dance. She began working for the CCM Preparatory Department in the fall of 1987 and teaches ballet to students at JOB.
Mary Lyn earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Pedagogy from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. During this time, she trained and performed in a semi-professional touring company in Eastern Europe with the Butler Ballet. While Mary Lyn is not dancing, she enjoys teaching at local dance studios and volunteering for the Kids Dance Outreach program in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Katherine was born and raised in Cincinnati. She moved to NYC after attending Oklahoma City University and performed in the movie “The Producers”. She moved to Paris, France to perform with the world renowned Lido de Paris. Next, she traveled the world working as a dancer for Norwegiean Cruise Line for 6 years. Once back on land, she performed as Principal Dancer in the iconic show, Jubilee, on the Las Vegas Strip.
Jordan is currently a student at University of Cincinnati as well as an alumni of the award-winning Just Off Broadway Performance Team. She has been dancing since the age of 2 and has been following in the footsteps of her mother and aunt who own Just Off Broadway.
Kelli Stratman graduated from NKU with a degree in Psychology and is currently getting her Masters. She began dancing at JOB in 2001 and was a member of the award winning JOB Performance Team, training in all styles of dance. Working with children is something she loves to do. She is excited to be teaching classes this year!
Tricia has danced with the Sacramento Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet School, and was promoted to soloist in 2004 at Cincinnati Ballet. She has performed in Canada, Portugal, Amsterdam and Germany, and was invited to perform at the Bolshoi Theatre, where she received audience and critical acclaim. She teaches all over the US.
Kelly Whitaker has been a certified personal trainer through N.E.S.T.A. (National Exercise and Sport Trainers Association) since October 2009. Training with Kelly is about meeting individual goals in ways that truly work for a client's physical and mental background. She currently trains our dancers in Pilates and conditioning.
Jessie works full time at Good Samaritan Hospital as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. She began dancing at Just Off Broadway at the age of two and has been teaching as part of the JOB faculty since the age of 16. She is also an alumni of the JOB Performance Team. She is very excited for another year with her dance family.
Victor was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and moved to New York City where he started his training in the School of American ballet at the age of 13. Upon graduation in 2009, he joined São Paulo Companhia de Dança where he performed ballets from international choreographers. Then in 2012, Victor joined the Royal Ballet of Flanders in Belgium, and is now teaching students and inspiring them with a love for dance.
Karley Burdick is a senior attending West Clermont High School. Her passion for dance began at the age of 4 while attending JOB. Karley has been a member of Just Off Broadway for 14 years and JOB Performance Team for almost 12 years, winning various awards and scholarships from countless competitions and conventions across the country. She is excited to teach your little ones this year!
Braylan is a rising senior at Laurel Springs School and is a member of the JOB Performance Team. Since taking her first ballet class at the age of 3, she has fallen in love with all forms of dance. Braylan has received numerous competition awards and scholarships including Nuvo Breakout Artist, NYCDA Outstanding Dancer, and was most recently crowned Miss Dance of Ohio and Miss Dance of America.
Trista Mullenix is a junior at the School for Creative and Performing Arts. She is also a member of Just Off Broadway's award-winning competition and convention team, where she competes and attends many workshops across the country. She has also performed in several SCPA and Cincinnati Ballet productions. She is extremely grateful and excited for the opportunity to teach young dancers!
Ying Lei, who is known to her family and friends as Lei Lei, is 15 years old. She has received numerous 1st Place finishes and scholarships at national competitions, including placing in the top 3 at The Dance Awards. Lei Lei is beyond grateful to continue her passion for dance, and she also loves to travel, meet, and learn from so many inspiring teachers and dancers across the country. She is excited to be teaching this year!
Hannah has grown up with a passion for dance, particularly tap. Through attending residencies/intensives and performing in professional shows across the country, Hannah has trained with the most recognizable names in the tap industry. She is mentored in Los Angeles by Melinda Sullivan, a current member of the "Syncopated Ladies.” Hannah has won numerous scholarships and awards, but above all, strives to connect and share her passion with her students.
James has many Broadway credits including Mary Poppins, Taboo, Beauty & The Beast, Wicked, and Sweet Charity. James is also a sought after teacher and choreographer at studios throughout the United States where his students and choreography continue to be recognized nationally at major competitions and conventions.
Heather's students have won titles and awards at national levels and can also be seen dancing professionally in New York. Heather has also judged national dance competitions across the United States and guest teaches so that she can share her expertise with students all over the country. She has received multiple awards for her choreography.
Lauren Slouffman grew up dancing in Cincinnati, OH and now resides in New York City working as a dancer, singer, and actress. She recently earned her BFA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College, while expanding upon her training at the Institute for American Musical Theatre. Outside of her own training, Lauren enjoys teaching young dancers and practicing Pilates.
Chase trains in ballet, tap, jazz, acro, contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop, lyrical, and ballroom. He has performed on World of Dance and America’s Got Talent. He has been featured modeling for GAP, Old Navy, Zara, Ralph Lauren, FILA, GQ Magazine, and on global commercials, and billboards from his new campaign with Timberland.
Ohio native, Drew made his industry debut on Live with Regis during Amazing Kids Week. He trained at L.A.’s best studios including EDGE, Millennium, Fusion, and the PAC Annex. Drew is highly sought after as a performer, choreographer, and master teacher. Drew is currently on tour with Rasta Thomas and the Bad Boys of Dance.
Teddy Forance has assisted the Celine Dion Taking Chances tour and performed as a lead dancer on Cirque du Soleil's Delirium. Teddy has worked on hit TV shows So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars. He has also performed with award-winning artists Lady Gaga, Usher, and Florence and the Machine. Currently, he teaches around the world for JUMP Dance Convention.
