Kathy is a member of Actor‘s Equity and continues to perform and choreograph for theaters across the US and students at JOB. Her performance credits include The Merry Widow with the NYC opera, European tour of 42nd Street and The Augsburg‘s State Theater‘s production of West Side Story in Germany. US tours include West Side Story, My Fair Lady and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Kathy has assistant choreographed in over twenty shows.
Amanda has been dancing at Just Off Broadway since the age of three and was a member of their award winning Performance Team. After her time at JOB, she attended the University of Cincinnati. She is very excited to be choreographing for the Performance Team and Hot Shots this year as well as teaching classes.
Katherine was born and raised in Cincinnati. She moved to NYC after attending Oklahoma City University and performed in the movie “The Producers”. She moved to Paris, France to perform with the world renowned Lido de Paris. Next, she traveled the world working as a dancer for Norwegiean Cruise Line for 6 years. Once back on land, she performed as Principal Dancer in the iconic show, Jubilee, on the Las Vegas Strip.
Kelli Stratman graduated from NKU with a degree in Psychology and is currently getting her Masters. She began dancing at JOB in 2001 and was a member of the award winning JOB Performance Team, training in all styles of dance. Working with children is something she loves to do. She is excited to be teaching classes this year!
Lauren graduated from University of Cincinnati with a degree in Education, received her Masters from Xavier, and is a 6th grade teacher in New Richmond. She began dancing at the age of five and has studied hip hop, acro, ballet, and jazz. She is an alumni of the JOB Performance Team and has enjoyed teaching at JOB for many years.
Patricia was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Glen Rock, NJ. She is known for her principal roles in classical and Balanchine ballets.Upon retirement as Principal Dancer from the Cincinnati Ballet, Patricia began teaching at Cincinnati’s School for Creative and Performing Arts, where she was the chair of the Dance Department and Co-Director of the SCPA Dance Ensemble.
Kelly Whitaker is a Cincinnati native with 18 years experience in instructing ballet. She was trainee to the Cincinnati Ballet and then went onto dance professionally with the Columbia City Ballet and Contemporary Dance Theatre in Columbia, South Carolina. She is also a sports yoga, adult fitness instructor, and personal trainer certified through the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association.
Jonnie Lynn Jacobs-Percer is a local teacher from the College Conservatory of Music Prep program. received her B.F.A. and M.A. from the University of Cincinnati in 1982 and 2001, majoring in Ballet and Dance. She began working for the CCM Preparatory Department in the fall of 1987 and teaches ballet to students at JOB.
Jordan is currently a student at University of Cincinnati as well as an alumni of the award-winning Just Off Broadway Performance Team. She has been dancing since the age of 2 and has been following in the footsteps of her mother and aunt who own Just Off Broadway.
Jessie works full time at Good Samaritan Hospital as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. She began dancing at Just Off Broadway at the age of two and has been teaching as part of the JOB faculty since the age of 16. She is also an alumni of the JOB Performance Team. She is very excited for another year with her dance family.
Laura has been a a competitive ballroom dancer for 10 years and currently holds the title of World Pro/Am Argentine Dance Champion. She loves sharing her passion of ballroom with others, and wants to help her students set goals as they better their ballroom dancing. In addition to Ballroom classes, Laura also enjoys teaching social dance to couples at studios across the region.
Carolyn grew up dancing at The Dance Connection of Canton, Michigan where she was a part of the regional and national award-winning Competition Team for 10 years. She graduated with honors from Michigan State University, majoring in Kinesiology. During her time at MSU, she was a member of MSU Elite Competitive Dance Team for 4 years. Carolyn is currently working towards her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Xavier University.
Dawn has been teaching in the Cincinnati area for over 20 years. She earned her BFA from Northern Kentucky University with an area of concentration in Education. She also earned an MFA from the University of Virginia where she graduated with honors. Dawn is a Member of Dance Masters of Ohio and is certified in Acro, Ballet, Tap and Jazz.
Ava is currently a senior at Cincinnati’s School for Creative and Performing Arts and has been on Just Off Broadways convention and performance teams since 2019. Ava enjoys performing and attending dance conventions, and is excited for what will come with senior year! She has achieved numerous awards, including the Just Off Broadway Scholarship, and has been named a Cincinnati Arts Association Overture Award Finalist. Ava loves working with the younger students, and is excited to share her knowledge.
Emerson is currently a sophomore attending Highlands High School. She began dancing at the age of three, and has been dancing at Just Off Broadway for the last three years. Emerson is a member of Just Off Broadway's award-winning competition and convention team, she competes and attends many workshops across the country. She enjoys all types of dance, especially ballet and tap. When she isn't dancing she is part of the Broadcasting team at Highlands High School. Emerson loves sharing her passion for dance.
Hannah is currently a freshman at Turpin High School and has been a part of Just Off Broadway's performance team for the past 10 years. She began dancing at the age of four and ever since then has developed a huge passion for dance. Hannah enjoys all styles of dance but her favorites are tap and jazz. She has won multiple tap scholarships and was awarded the 2019 JOB student scholarship. Hannah is very excited to work with the younger dancers and help build their confidence and love of dance.
Mikaela White is a senior at Cincinnati’s School for Creative and Performing Arts and a member of the award-winning JOB Performance Team. She has performed in many productions and has held leading roles such as Snow Queen in SCPA’s Nutcracker and Jane in SCPA’s Treasure Island. She was a Season 6 Pro-Reveler with Revel Dance Convention and has received many other scholarships and awards including NUVO Breakout Artist, JUMP VIP and most recently, a Corbett-Mayerson Scholarship Award Winner and NYCDA Senior, National Top 50 Outstanding Dancer. She is excited to be teaching your young dancers.
Tabbi is currently a high school student at Ohio Virtual Academy and a member of JOB Performance and Convention Teams. She started dancing at the age of four and fell in love with being on stage. Tabbi enjoys sports but dance is her passion - her ultimate goal is to dance on a cruise ship and continue to travel. She enjoys working with young dancers and eventually would like to own a studio herself. Tabbi is very excited to be a part of Just Off Broadways assistant program and share her love of dance with others.
Bella began dancing at Just Off Broadway when she was 2 years old. What began as a weekly Creative Movement class once a weekly lit a spark and turned into a love and passion for Dance. Bella has been on the National Award Winning JOB Performance Team for 10 years and attends the School of Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati. She is excited to share her love of dance, be a good role model, and help teach the younger kids proper technique in class while making it fun.
A senior at the School for Creative and Performing Arts, Trista has been a part of Just Off Broadway’s award-winning performance and convention team for 11 years. She has also been a member of the Cleveland Tap Repertoire and traveled to various competitions and conventions where she has been awarded many regional and national awards/scholarships for her tapping, including being named an Overture Award Finalist. She loves performing and is excited to teach your young dancer with animation and energy.
Chase trains in ballet, tap, jazz, acro, contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop, lyrical, and ballroom. He has performed on World of Dance and America’s Got Talent. He has been featured modeling for GAP, Old Navy, Zara, Ralph Lauren, FILA, GQ Magazine, and his choreography has been featured on the hit show, "So You Think You Can Dance."
Lauren Slouffman grew up dancing in Cincinnati, OH and now resides in Las Vegas working as a professional dancer. She recently earned her BFA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College, and is working as the Principal Dancer in the Vegas show, "iLuminate."
Mary Lyn earned her BFA in Dance Pedagogy from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. During this time, she trained and performed across Eastern Europe with the Butler Ballet. Since graduating in 2020, Mary Lyn has taken to teaching dance to local students in Indianapolis, IN.
Heather's students have won titles and awards at national levels and can also be seen dancing professionally in New York. Heather has also judged national dance competitions across the United States and guest teaches so that she can share her expertise with students all over the country. She has received multiple awards for her choreography.
Tricia has danced with the Sacramento Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet School, and was promoted to soloist in 2004 at Cincinnati Ballet. She has performed in Canada, Portugal, Amsterdam and Germany, and was invited to perform at the Bolshoi Theatre, where she received audience and critical acclaim. She teaches all over the US.
James has many Broadway credits including Mary Poppins, Taboo, Beauty & The Beast, Wicked, and Sweet Charity. James is also a sought after teacher and choreographer at studios throughout the United States where his students and choreography continue to be recognized nationally at major competitions and conventions.
